Murata Machinery Group in Utah is seeking a software developer to create applications that control automated material handling equipment used in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution.

Responsibilities include on-site installation and integration, testing with software/hardware emulators, training manuals, and providing after-hours support on a rotation. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in CS/IT and 2+ years in application development with Windows, Visual Basic, C/C++, or Java.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years in application development in the Windows OS environment and Visual Basic, C/C++ and/or JAVA.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and technical procedures or operation manuals.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills (English).

Outstanding oral and written communication skills (English language).*MATHEMATICAL SKILLS*Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.*REASONING ABILITY*Excellent judgment, troubleshooting and analytical capabilities. Ability to use standard statistical analysis methodologies. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.*OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES** Oracle or SQL Server Database* Experience with Automated Material Handling Systems is preferred* Willingness to travel.*TRAVEL*This position requires 25- 40% travel including domestic and international.
