John Deere, in Moline, Illinois, seeks a Software Engineer to develop, test, and maintain the Digital Service Experience tools for dealers and customers. You will design enhancements to improve cost, quality, and performance, while delivering efficient, high-quality code and collaborating across teams.

The role requires 2+ years in React/NextJS UI development, 2 years in end-to-end CAN message based apps, and experience with module federation, AWS, and GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 3 years related experience.
• 2 years of experience in UI/UX development using React, NextJS or JavaScript basics.
• 2 years of experience in end‑to‑end development embedded to client to server from machine CAN messages to dealer visible application on browser, including technologies C++, Node.js Addons, Node.js Server, React and AWS.
• 2 years of experience in design and development of application using MFE, Module Federation and iframes.
• 1 year of experience in application development and performance using GitHub Actions as deployment pipeline and AWS as infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems for Digital Service Experience tool for John Deere Dealers and customers.
• Evaluate and implement enhancements in design solutions to improve the cost, quality, and performance of Dealer and customer service tool.
• Proactively design solutions for dealers and customers.
• Monitor and increase the performance of application.
• Develop efficient and quality code.
• Maintain applications and collaborate with other applications.
• Travel up to 20% domestic and international to collaborate with other teams.
• Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite.
• Up to 20% remote work allowed.
