Job summary

Power3 Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer in Fort Meade, MD to design, develop, and maintain complex software systems. You will analyze requirements, code, test, and integrate solutions across hardware/software environments, working both independently and as a team lead on projects.

The role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and 7 years of SWE experience in similar programs, with strong Java/Python, container and CI/CD expertise, and knowledge of Spring/Hibernate and Web Services.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years experience as a SWE in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• 5 years experience with Java SE, Python, Git, Shell/bash, Nexus, Maven, JavaScript/HTML5/CSS3, JUnit and IDEs.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift) and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and delivering features in sprints.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, and MySQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design, code, and modify software to add features and improve performance.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems and environments.
• Develop data queries and review software and system documentation.
• Lead the team at the level appropriate to the process.
