Job summary

Power3 Solutions in the Fort Meade, MD vicinity seeks a Jr. Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including analytics and real-time components. Position location is subject to change based on client needs.

No demonstrated experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required, or four years of SWE experience may substitute for the degree. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to support sensitive programs.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required or four years SWE experience may substitute for a degree.
• No demonstrated experience is required for Level 0 Software Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or environments.
