Job summary

CACI has an immediate opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a team in the Ft. Meade area, supporting the Data Transport System (DTS).

The role requires active TS/SCI with polygraph and 4–10 years’ SWE experience, with a strong focus on Java, Linux, and distributed computing. The engineer will analyze requirements, debug software, design and code new features, and work with enterprise-grade tools and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; four (4) years of additional SWE experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience in Java, Perl, RESTful services and containers (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat).
• Experience with Linux, modern IDEs, Agile Scrum, and using GIT/CM tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Provide application development for high-performance, multi-threaded, distributed environments.
• Experience with enterprise-grade/server-side JAVA.
