Job summary

Leidos, a leader in national security, seeks a Software Engineer to join the Cyber & Analytics Business Area. You will contribute to security engineering, CNO, mission software, and cryptographic key management, working in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and deploying software with a strong emphasis on reliability and reuse across programs. TS/SCI polygraph is required upfront.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience or Master’s with less than 2 years experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Java and multiple Java frameworks (Spring Boot, JEE, Jackson, Jersey, Swing, JavaFX).
• Experience with several languages: JavaScript, Python, C/C++, SQL.
• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, VS Code, Visual Studio, Rhapsody, WebStorm.
• Experience with databases Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server.
• Experience with web UI, Spring Framework, AngularJS/JSON/HTML/XML/XSLT.
• Experience with source control and configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of cryptographic tech and secure software development.
• Experience on Windows and/or Linux and with web services.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and PI planning.
• Analyze complex system requirements and use design tools and formal specs.
• Ensure code is modular, efficient, reliable, and reusable.
• Manage software process during coding and promote reuse across programs.
• Document automation scripts and deploy to test/production bench.
