Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking a Software Engineer at the mid-level to design, develop, test, deploy, and enhance software products. The role emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration with the Chief Engineer, and rigorous design and code review processes to deliver high-impact solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a TS/SCI clearance, strong experience in Agile environments, and proficiency with Git, Java, C++, Python, and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components.
• Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with the following software development skills: Git, Java, C++, and/or Python.
• Relational database, such as Postgres.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions.
• Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
• Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Work closely with the Chief Engineer to define feature specifications and build products.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
