BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer Skill Level 1 to support Department of War IC missions at Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems across analytics, large datasets, real-time processing, and business information systems.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field and substantial SWE experience. The position requires TS/SCI with Poly clearance; a strong emphasis on design input,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
Seven (7) years experience as a SWE in similar scope is required.
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
Debug existing software and correct defects.
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance and data usage.
Modify existing software to improve performance.
