Visionist, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer - Tools and Applications with Active TS/SCI clearance to join our mission-focused team on a major PRIME contract.

You will develop high-quality AI tools for the workforce, ensure availability, performance, and security, modify open-source software, and engage with customers to elicit requirements and deliver solutions that address their needs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 4 years of experience may substitute.
• 3 years of software development experience required.
• Proficiency with Python or an object-oriented language.
• Experience with using LLMs in code solutions workflow.
• Strong communication and quick learning abilities.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles.

Your contributions are

• Develop high-quality AI tools and applications for the workforce to use
• Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and security of AI tools
• Modify FOSS (Free and Open-Source Software) to accommodate the customer’s use cases
• Regularly engage with customers, conducting requirements elicitation and developing solutions to address their needs
• Maintain existing customer-facing infrastructure and applications, ensuring reliable services

Requirements for your new career

• Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required
• U.S citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible)
• Applicants selected will be required to obtain / maintain a government security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 3 years of experience in software development
• Proficiency with Python or another Object-Oriented Programming language
• Knowledge of and experience with using LLMs as a part of a code solution workflow
• Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles
