Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our largest PRIME contract.

This role requires Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph and involves designing and deploying AI-enabled workflows, Python automation, and vulnerability analysis within intelligence community projects. You will collaborate with analysts and mission leadership, contribute to systems design and engineering, and deliver mission solutions with production-ready pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
• 12 years of software development experience; degree substitution allowed with experience
• Experience leveraging LLMs for problem solving, including prompt engineering and model optimization

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy agentic AI workflows that leverage autonomous planning and tool use to streamline operations and improve system efficiency
• Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using Python
• Conduct vulnerability analysis and research
• Develop and document technical tradecraft

• 12 years of experience in software development
• Experience leveraging LLMs to solve complex problems, including prompt engineering and model optimization
• Experience integrating AI into automated pipelines and production workflows using APIs and orchestration tools
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience with data parsing and manipulation
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
• Experience conducting open-source research
• Familiarity with Git
