Top Echelon Software, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Software Engineer to develop logging and data delivery systems for autonomous vehicles. You will build software that captures, encodes, and transmits large volumes of vehicle logs with high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities include designing backend services, securing data transmission, and optimizing cloud storage and processing pipelines for terabyte-scale operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of system-level software development experience.
• Proficiency with Linux-based systems (x86, embedded devices).
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud services.
• Familiarity with backend development and cloud data services (AWS a plus).
• Understanding of data processing at scale and security basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain logging software for autonomous driving systems.
• Build system services for secure and efficient data transmission from vehicles to the cloud.
• Develop backend services to control data delivery and processing workflows.
• Optimize data storage and processing pipelines in the cloud for terabyte-scale operations.
• Participate in data-platform architecture design and implementation.
