Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a software engineer to plan, conduct, and coordinate development activities across the full software lifecycle for mission-focused systems.

You will design, develop, document, test, and debug software using C/C++ and Unix/Linux environments, applying OOD principles and avionics knowledge to meet system requirements. This role involves collaboration across teams at Lockheed Martin in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience with at least two of the following: Unix/Linux System Services, C/C++ Software Development, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Aircraft Weapons Systems knowledge, or Avionics Modeling / Aircraft Weapon Simulation modeling.
• Experience with Operating Systems such as Windows, Sun Solaris, Linux or VxWorks (VxSim).

• Experience with Operating Systems such as Windows, Sun Solaris, Linux or VxWorks (VxSim).

Desired Skills

• COMET Automated Test Language (ATL), COMET Configuration Management (CM), and Inter-Range Instrumentation Group (IRIG) Chapter-10 Data Recording Standard.
• F-16 aircraft avionics familiarity.
• GTK software development tools, Multi-threading, and Inter-Process Communication (IPC) knowledge.
• Experience with MIL-STD-1553 Multiplex bus protocol.
• Experience with the 194 bus protocol.

Pay Information

• Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00
