Job summary
Lockheed Martin RMS is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge electronic warfare solutions. This mid-career opportunity targets engineers who will integrate EW algorithms into C++ applications and collaborate across disciplines to solve complex problems.
As part of a small, agile team, you will review designs, optimize algorithms, and stay current with new technologies while ensuring compliance with software standards and security requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- Knowledge of Electronic Warfare techniques and algorithms.
- Experience in software development in C++.
- Experience with OOA/OOD design and implementation.
- Experience in debugging, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Experience working with a team, as well as independently.
- The ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance required - US citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and program personnel to develop and support Electronic Warfare systems.

At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we're at the forefront of developing cutting-edge solutions for Electronic Warfare (EW) programs. Using the electromagnetic spectrum—signals such as radio, infrared, or radar— to sense, protect, and communicate. At the same time, EW can disrupt, deny and degrade the adversaries' ability to use these signals.
We are in search of a mid-career Electronic Warfare (EW) Software Engineering professional to join our team.
As a senior member of the team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems.

- Knowledge of Electronic Warfare development for passive location, Angle of Arrival and/or Identification algorithms
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Experience with modern DevOps tools and principles
- Experience using CUDA, OpenGL or equivalent language for high performance computing
- Experience with Static Code Analysis tools.
Full-Time Salary Range: $98100.00 - $182100.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
