Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement mission-critical applications enabling Starship, Starlink, and manufacturing workflows. You will own software from concept to delivery, collaborate across teams, and optimize performance in production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of professional software experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in full stack development.
• Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications that improve how SpaceX operates.
• Build prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Deep dive into users’ problems to find and create efficient solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews.
