Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an IT Systems Administrator for manufacturing environments. This on-site role supports networking, compute administration, and application support across rocket manufacturing facilities.

The candidate will manage incident response, document systems, and work with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliant, secure operations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing IT, hands-on Linux or Windows server skills, and experience with AD, SCCM, virtualization, and firewalls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT systems administration experience in manufacturing/factory environments.
• Hands-on Linux or Windows server administration.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network administration and deployment.
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity to manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Augment and deploy new IT infrastructure supporting mission-critical networks in rocket manufacturing factories.
• Perform periodic systems upgrades and patches, including weekends/evenings.
• Monitor IT services and respond to incidents to maintain performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues with deployments.
• Author and maintain IT systems documentation from overview to procedures.
• Leverage automation tools and contribute to IT systems engineering.
• Ensure systems meet ITAR, ISO, and NIST cybersecurity standards.
