NetJets, the global private aviation leader for over 60 years, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and optimize systems that support airline operations, customer experience, and logistics platforms.

Purpose of Position

Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Drive the design and implementation of reliable, scalable software solutions, ensuring new features and enhancements meet availability, resilience, and performance standards.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams—including architecture, infrastructure operations, cybersecurity, and data—to design and implement systems that balance business functionality with operational reliability and risk mitigation.
  • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, repeatable, and efficient build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Embed quality and security into the software lifecycle by implementing automated testing, code quality checks, vulnerability scanning, and pipeline enforcement (unit test coverage, static analysis, and compliance checks).
  • Develop and enhance observability and operational practices (monitoring, alerting, logging) to proactively detect and respond to system issues.
  • Work within an agile environment to iteratively deliver high-impact improvements while continuously improving system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
Education

Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

  • 2–4 years of experience in software engineering or related roles, with a strong understanding of system design, scalability, and production support.
  • Proficient in scripting and programming (e.g., Python) to automate operational tasks, reduce toil, and improve system reliability is a must. Experience with API integration and tooling is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), including compute, networking, and storage services. Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code and distributed system architectures is a plus.
  • Exposure to supporting Jenkins, WebSphere, BitBucket, Git, Nexus, Tomcat, and APM tools such as Datadog.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead or contribute effectively during incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and cross‑team coordination.
