Job summary

NetJets in Columbus, OH is seeking a software engineer to design, build, test, maintain, and support applications and services that empower airline operations, customer experience, and logistics. You will provide technical leadership, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and deliver high‑value software in an agile environment.

A Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 4–6 years of experience with Node.js and AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, API Gateway) are required.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience as Software engineer.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
• Node.js; AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, API Gateway.
• Web/mobile development experience from education is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, maintain, and support software applications, services, and systems, ensuring they deliver business value and are fully prepared for operational use.
• Ensure application resiliency, stability, security, and data protection by implementing robust engineering practices, proactive monitoring, and adherence to organizational and industry standards.
• Provide technical leadership for engineering teams and contribute to the definition, design, development, integration, test and documentation of the product and its features in alignment with established technology and architectural standards.
• Collaborate with the people on your team, in your functional area, and with your business stakeholders to ensure business value is achieved.
• Demonstrate leadership and accountability by taking ownership of commitments, delivering results with integrity, and ensuring outcomes meet agreed‑upon goals.
• Operate within an agile team to deliver outcomes iteratively while fostering empiricism, learning, and continuous improvement in delivery practices.
