Job summary

NetJets Services, Inc. is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to drive design and implementation of software for innovative airline operations and data solutions in Columbus, OH.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration across teams, and building automated pipelines and tests. You will contribute to a modern software stack, leverage AWS services, and participate in agile development to deliver value with efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
  • 0-2 years of experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and Agile methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive implementation of software through analysis and design for new features or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure operations, cyber security, and others to implement broad architectures.
  • Automate build, test, and deploy code and pipelines.
  • Build testing automation and related processes (unit tests, automation, code scanning).
  • Work in an agile team to iteratively deliver value.

Purpose of Position

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Drive implementation of software through analysis and design activities for new business features or value-based enhancements to existing software.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams like architecture, infrastructure operations, cyber security, and others to implement architectures that encompass broad perspectives and requirements.
  • Automate build, test, and deploy code and build pipelines
  • Build testing automation and associated processes (Unit test coverage, testing automation, pipeline automation, code scanning, etc.) into the software product.
  • Work in a agile team environment to iteratively delivery value.
