Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Software Engineer to design, implement, and maintain components for internal test platforms like ScenarioKit. You will build automated pipelines for running tests on local and cloud infrastructure (GCP) and develop tools for ML-based perception and planning systems.

The role requires advanced degree and experience in Python/C++, ML, CV, SQL, and cloud-based environments. 100% telecommuting is permitted, with base compensation in a strong annual range plus incentive

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in CS/CE with required years of experience as specified.
• Proficiency in Python and C++ for software development and automation.
• Experience with simulation environments, robotics or autonomous systems software.
• Experience in SQL data querying and large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with ML models, CV systems and cloud-based development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software components for internal test platforms.
• Build and maintain automated pipelines for simulation test execution locally and in GCP.
