PLANIT Group is looking for a Scrum Master to guide agile delivery teams in Orlando, FL, following a hybrid model. In this role, you will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure compliance with government regulations while leveraging your technical expertise.
The ideal candidate must have an active Secret Security Clearance and certifications like CSM or PSM. You'll closely collaborate with Product Owners and communicate effectively with stakeholders to optimize team performance.
Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid – Onsite > 50% of the time)

Certification: Scrum Master Certification Required (e.g., CSM, PSM)
The Scrum Master will guide 1 to 2 agile delivery teams through the development and deployment of technical operational baseline updates. Serving as a servant-leader, you will champion Agile principles, facilitate core ceremonies, and remove delivery friction to optimize team velocity. Because these systems operate within a highly secure environment, the ideal candidate will blend deep Agile coaching expertise with a technical engineering background to ensure compliance with strict government regulations and security protocols.
Agile Facilitation: Plan, facilitate, and optimize all foundational Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Impediment Removal: Actively identify, track, and eliminate roadblocks, organizational bottlenecks, and technical dependencies hindering team progression.
Backlog Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain a thoroughly groomed, estimated, and prioritized product backlog.
Metrics & Visual Governance: Ensure absolute progress transparency across the organization utilizing information radiators, including Jira dashboards and sprint burndown/burnup tracking.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for the team, proactively communicating project status, velocity metrics, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
Compliance & Security: Ensure all software increments and team processes maintain compliance with active government regulations, information security protocols, and formal reporting requirements.
Technical Domain Literacy: Proven foundational experience working directly within an IT, Fullstack development, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering environment alongside engineering teams.
Tooling: Hands-on proficiency utilizing Jira for backlog management, sprint execution, and metric reporting.
Clearance: Must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance.
Geography: Must be local to the Orlando, FL area and commit to a hybrid schedule requiring greater than 50% onsite attendance at the client facility.
