Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineer - Level 2 to join our Space Systems team in Aurora, CO (or Redondo Beach, CA). You will develop and sustain mission software, collaborate across subsystems, and design scalable backend services for national security programs.

The role requires an active SCI/TS clearance or the ability to obtain SCI, a bachelor's or master’s degree, and strong OO programming with server-side languages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience; Master’s considered.
• Active SCI or TS clearance is required at application time with ability to obtain SCI if needed.
• Strong Object-Oriented programming skills; experience with C++.
• Experience with server-side languages and designing scalable backend services.
• Experience building RESTful/GraphQL/gRPC APIs and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain mission operational software product lines.
• Collaborate with a large multi-subsystem team to deliver solutions.
• Design and develop backend services and APIs to support national security missions.
• Participate in DevSecOps practices and use Atlassian tools.
