Job summary

Amazon Ad eXchange (AAX) seeks experienced Software Development Engineers to design and scale high-demand distributed services that power the Ad ecosystem. You will collaborate across teams to build new platforms and features from scratch while handling ambiguity and rapid ship cycles.

Basic qualifications include 3+ years of non-internship software development and design/architecture experience, plus proficiency in at least one programming language.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to develop, design, and bring to market innovative devices and services.
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to novel technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
