Job summary

Q2 is seeking a Software Engineer on the Risk & Fraud team to build production systems that help customers detect and prevent fraud. You will design and implement services, APIs, and data infrastructure across the stack, delivering reliable, scalable solutions.

You’ll own your systems end-to-end, collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers, and bring strong engineering fundamentals to a domain where reliability and accuracy matter.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Python, well-tested and scalable code.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational/analytical data stores.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test software with focus on high availability and resiliency.
• Build and operate scalable data workflows supporting fraud analytics and ML models.
• Work across the stack from data to APIs to front-end integrations.
