Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineer (Level 1 or 2) for the Western Region Software Engineering Directorate in Manhattan Beach, CA. You will work onsite on MILSATCOM payload systems, with a focus on embedded flight software, tools, and full software lifecycle support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline required.
Proficiency in C++ and OO programming; hands-on experience with production or large-scale codebases.
Experience on Unix/Linux platforms; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required at time of application.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance embedded flight software that controls onboard payload functions.
Develop and improve ground support tools; contribute across full software lifecycle.
Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary engineering team and support on-orbit investigations.
