Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking a Software Engineer for a remote Florida-based role. You will design and evolve scalable software architectures using SOLID, Clean Architecture, and microservices patterns, with emphasis on secure RESTful APIs and event-driven design.

Frontend work with Angular/TypeScript complements backend systems, all hosted in cloud environments with CI/CD pipelines. You will contribute to a cross-functional team, practice TDD/BDD, and adopt Agile methods to deliver robust

Qualifications

• Advanced C# and .NET Core development with asynchronous programming.
• Experience building and securing RESTful APIs with authentication/authorization.
• Frontend experience with Angular or similar and strong TypeScript skills.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience with EF Core and Dapper for data access.
• Familiarity with event-driven systems and message brokers like Azure Service Bus or Kafka.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of SOLID, Clean Architecture, vertical slice, hexagonal, microservices, modular monolith.
• Experience with TDD/BDD, secure coding, Git branching, and Agile methodologies.

Summary: Designs and evolves scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures using SOLID, DRY, KISS, and Clean Architecture principles. Applies vertical slice architecture, layered, hexagonal, microservices, and modular monolith architectures for feature-oriented design and reduced coupling. Develops backend systems with advanced C# and .NET Core, asynchronous programming, dependency injection, middleware pipelines, and configuration management. Builds and secures RESTful Web APIs with authentication, authorization, versioning, and backward compatibility. Implements event-driven architecture using domain and integration events, message brokers, and streaming platforms such as Azure Service Bus and Kafka. Develops frontend applications using Angular or comparable frameworks with TypeScript, event-driven state management, and component-based architecture. Uses Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and modern CSS for responsive and accessible UI design integrated with REST APIs and large data sets. Applies data persistence using SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework Core, Dapper, transaction management, and query optimization. Uses cloud and DevOps technologies including Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and observability. Applies TDD, BDD, secure coding, code reviews, Git branching strategies, and Agile or Scrum delivery practices.
