The Structures Company, a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency, seeks a Software Engineer for a hybrid Orlando position. You will design and implement Ansible automation, manage inventories, and integrate IaC tools with CI/CD pipelines.

Active Secret clearance and being a U.S. person are required. The role emphasizes Linux administration, Python or Bash scripting, and collaboration to deliver secure, scalable automation solutions.

• Proficiency in Ansible playbooks and roles with idempotent design.
• Deep understanding of YAML and Jinja2 templating.
• Experience with dynamic and static inventory management.
• Strong Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu/Debian/Alpine).
• Experience with Ansible Windows modules, PowerShell, and AD integration.
• Experience combining Ansible with Terraform or CloudFormation for hybrid approaches.
• Experience with Ansible for container and Kubernetes cluster bootstrapping and management.
• Git workflows for playbooks and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines).
• Experience with testing tools like Molecule, TestInfra; Vault/KMS for secrets.

• Implements secrets management using Vault, Ansible Vault, or cloud KMS.
• Ensures compliance with security standards and maintains audit trails.
• Uses Python or Bash for custom modules and automation glue code.

• Strong Linux administration skills across RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian, and Alpine.
• Experience with Ansible Windows modules, PowerShell remediation, and Active Directory integration.
• Experience combining Ansible with Terraform or CloudFormation for hybrid approaches.
• Experience with Ansible for container and Kubernetes cluster bootstrapping and management.
• Experience with Git workflows for playbook repositories and CI/CD integration including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Azure Pipelines.
• Experience with testing tools like Molecule, TestInfra, and secrets management using Vault, Ansible Vault, or cloud KMS.
