Develop and implement UI components using React, building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
Build and maintain backend API endpoints in the pod's core language, .NET or Python depending on the service.
Craft client code that is not just efficient but also performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
Write and maintain unit and integration tests for the code you own.
Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
Gather requirements, validate their understanding amongst the team, and create and maintain relevant documentation.
Foster collaboration with fellow engineers, designers, and managers to comprehend user pain points and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
Take ownership of assigned work, from technical design through a successful release.
2+ years of professional software engineering experience as a full-stack or front-end-leaning engineer.
Proficiency in React and its core principles, including component design, state management, and common workflows such as Redux or an equivalent.
Hands-on backend API development in .NET or Python, including REST endpoint design and consumption.
Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
Knowledge of protocols like HTTP and serialization formats like JSON and XML.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Knowledge of source control tools and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Beginner to intermediate level design proficiency following UML / C4 / ArchiMate.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (inheritance, polymorphism, classes, instances, properties).
Proficiency in the English language.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
TypeScript and modern front-end tooling.
Exposure to caching layers such as Redis, and to document or time-series databases.
Containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and unit testing practice.
Interest in data-heavy operational or monitoring products.
