Job summary

Prelim is hiring a Software Engineer, Product to own critical parts of the onboarding platform powering financial institutions worldwide. You’ll collaborate with customers, product, and engineering leadership to design systems for online deposit accounts, treasury services onboarding, and credit card applications.

You will build features across a full-stack platform, work with legacy banking integrations, and focus on reliability, scalability, and user experience for millions of users.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern web technologies (React, Node.js, PostgreSQL preferred).
• Strong system design with scalable architectures.
• Ability to translate banking requirements into elegant solutions.
• Balancing technical excellence with shipping features that move the business forward.
• Focus on user experience for banking applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build features across our entire stack handling massive scale and complexity.
• Build, enhance and fix the systems that seamlessly integrate with legacy bank infrastructure, core banking systems, and third-party compliance providers.
• Solve complex technical challenges around multi-tenant architecture, real-time data processing, and bank-grade reliability requirements.
• Work directly with major banks to understand their unique onboarding requirements and translate complex business logic into elegant technical solutions.
• Own the performance, scalability, and reliability of systems processing millions of applications across hundreds of different banking products.
