Job summary

Confluence Technologies, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Software Engineer to modernize one of our key products and bring AI capabilities into production.

You’ll contribute across a broad product ecosystem, building .NET/C# services, RESTful APIs, and AI-powered features. As part of a collaborative engineering culture, you’ll work with cross-functional teams, contribute to scalable architecture, and advance DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Professional experience developing software with .NET and C#.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and service-oriented applications.
• Understanding of software design patterns and scalable architecture.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Working knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Curiosity about AI and applying it to software engineering challenges.
• Approximately 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

We're looking for a Software Engineer to help modernise one of Confluence's most important products while bringing emerging AI capabilities into production.

This is not a maintenance role.

As part of our Software Engineering team, you'll work across a large-scale product ecosystem used by investment management firms around the world. You'll help develop modern services, improve platform capabilities and build AI-powered solutions using technologies such as LLMs and agent-based workflows.

If you're a .NET engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, learning new technologies and working with talented people, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll have the opportunity to integrate AI capabilities into production software, exploring how LLMs and intelligent workflows can deliver value to real users.
