Job summary

Amazon Music seeks a Software Development Engineer for the Partner Payments & Reporting team to design and build scalable backend services handling royalty distributions and payment calculations for music partners worldwide.

You will develop data pipelines to enrich and transform data from internal systems and deliver accurate datasets and reports for content partners, while tackling distributed systems challenges at billions of plays and transactions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer experience.
• 1+ years of designing multi-tiered, distributed software systems.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services processing streaming data at scale.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to generate external datasets and reports for partners.
• Build end-to-end reporting platforms with data validations, data lakes, and audit mechanisms.
• Collaborate across technology, business, and operations to meet licensing requirements and enable platform innovation.
