Job summary

Sony Interactive is seeking a Sr Software Engineer (Back End with ML experience) in San Mateo, CA for a 12-month contract. You will design and build scalable RESTful web services and ML models, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced gaming environment.

The role requires 4+ years in Java/Python/Golang, experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and familiarity with AWS/GCP and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Onsite presence 1–2 times per month.

Qualifications

• 4+ years design and programming in Java, Python and/or Golang for scalable web services.
• Experience in Machine Learning and DL frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Knowledge of AWS and/or GCP and NoSQL data stores.
• DevOps practices and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - FOCUS ON MACHING LEARNING

Candidates must be able to work directly on W2 without sponsorship (this includes OPT) and not C2C!!!

• 12 month contract
• onsite 1 or 2 times/month in San Mateo
• Pay Rate: $65-75/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

• Experience in Machine Learning
• Deep Learning framework experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization, and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Computer Vision, Graphics, and/or Game Engines is a plus
• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Estimated Min Rate: $65.00

Estimated Max Rate: $75.00
