Yoh Staffing is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Back End with ML experience) for a 12-month contract in San Mateo, CA, with hybrid on-site/remote work and occasional in-person collaboration. This role supports Sony Interactive and PlayStation, delivering ML-powered features and reliable backend services.

Responsibilities include designing RESTful services, building and deploying ML models, and collaborating with engineers across platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of design and programming experience in Java, Python and/or Golang for scalable web services.
• Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Knowledge of DevOps, containerization and tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Computer Vision, graphics or game engines is a plus.
• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - FOCUS ON MACHING LEARNING

Candidates must be able to work directly on W2 without sponsorship (this includes OPT) and not C2C!!!

• 12 month contract
• onsite 1 or 2 times/month in San Mateo
• Pay Rate: $65-75/hr on W2

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful Wbe Services API and algorithms
• Build, train, test, and deploy ML models
• Lean, collaborate , and network alongside world class engineers

• Create clear documentation, diagrams and knowledge base articles
• Working with engineers on PlayStation consoles, backend services, and QA teams to implement and tet features.
• Diagnosing and solving operational issues in a timely manner to endure high availability of our services.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of proven design and programmng experience in Java, Python and/or Golang, developing highly scalable web server applications based on object-oriented design patterns and powered by NoSQL data stores on AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience in Machine Learning
• Deep Learning framework experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerization, and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Computer Vision, Graphics, and/or Game Engines is a plus
• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Estimated Min Rate: $65.00
