Job summary

VICTUS Networks in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer to join the MIS & Tools team. You will design, develop and enhance web applications and internal platforms using PHP, Laravel and JavaScript to support telecom operations.

You will work on RESTful APIs, workflow automation with Power Automate and RPA, GIS-related mapping, and ensure code quality. A degree in CS/SE/IT and at least 2 years of experience are expected; strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of PHP (8.0+) and Laravel.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS; modern web development.
• Familiarity with Vue.js and MVC architecture.
• Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of version control, CI/CD practices and containerization technologies.
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer in our MIS & Tools team, you will design, develop and enhance software applications and digital solutions that support our business operations and the mobile networks of our shareholders.

You will work across software development, systems integration, process automation and data-driven applications, contributing to projects with real operational impact.

• Design, develop and maintain web applications and internal software platforms, primarily using PHP, Laravel and JavaScript.

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.


• At least 2 years of relevant experience in software development.


• Strong knowledge of PHP (8.0+) and Laravel.


• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern web development technologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python, Bash scripting or WordPress.


• Knowledge of Docker, Podman, Jenkins, Gitea or Kubernetes.


• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Automate or RPA solutions.


• Familiarity with GIS technologies, particularly ESRI ArcGIS.


• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.


• Exposure to telecommunications networks or network‑related applications.
