Job summary

Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) is seeking Software Engineers to contribute to the full stack of TRSS solutions, delivering global data with advanced search, big data ingestion, and analytics using MongoDB, Elastic, and Kafka. You will work on both backend and frontend, capturing customer requirements and designing new solutions within a polyglot, data-heavy environment.

You may lead small projects, mentor teammates, and own your work while learning new technologies.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of professional software development experience.
• B.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent
• Experience mentoring developers and leading small projects or teams.
• Strong problem-solving and engineering skills.
• Experience with backend: Python, Java, SpringBoot; databases: MongoDB, MySQL.
• DevOps: Docker, Jenkins, Git, Maven.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
