Job summary

ELEVI Associates, LLC is seeking a senior software engineer for a high-visibility malware analysis modernization program at Annapolis Junction, MD. You will join a team of engineers to develop new capabilities for a virtual malware containment enclave and modernize malware enrichment services.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance with poly required.
• 14 years SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university.
• 5+ years additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Willing to work in Annapolis Junction, MD.
• Experience with containerized apps (Kubernetes/Docker).
• Java REST services; backend development.
• Experience with Git and Atlassian tools.
• Familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot, Python, Mongo, NiFi.

Job description

In order to join the ELEVI team you will need

• You must be willing to work in the Annapolis Junction, MD
• A CURRENT OR ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE WITH POLY IS REQUIRED.
• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college oruniversity is required. Five (5)+ years of additional Software Engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• ELEVI requires a developer for a high priority and highly visible malware analysis modernization program. The individual will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the virtual malware containment enclave . The individual will also support the modernization of malware enrichment services.Required Skills/Experience:
  • Experience developing containerized applications (Kubernetes/Docker)
  • Ability to develop high-quality, efficient, and testable code
  • Ability to debug complex, system-wide issues.
  • Java Application (no front end necessary), REST
  • Ability to multitask and pivot to different tasks quickly
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, Git
  • Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE

Some of the day-to-day activities

• Work with a team to gather information and design/create/configure tools for monitoring.
• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results
• Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade- offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$190,400 - $215,000
