About The Role
We seek an enthusiastic, driven, and detail-oriented Software Engineering Manager to lead our Shared Services team. You will oversee developer efficiency and quality efforts, implementing dev ops solutions, application performance monitoring, test automation, and error management tools. Collaboration with engineering teams across the platform is essential. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong critical thinking, effective communication, organization, and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Work Details
Monday-Friday, Full-Time, Exempt (Hybrid or Remote)

What You Will Do

1. Partner with stakeholders to determine requirements, project timelines, and implementation plans.
2. Communicate project progress effectively to management and stakeholders.
3. Design and implement dev ops automation using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Chef.
4. Maintain application performance monitoring tools and dashboards.
5. Enhance testing automation frameworks for broader application coverage.
6. Manage error aggregation and alert platforms, optimizing notification processes.
7. Lead daily standups and assist team in removing blockers.
8. Handle HR responsibilities including performance evaluations.
9. Mentor and coach team members continuously.
10. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and change management policies.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years leading software engineering teams, including hiring and performance management.
• 5+ years in software development lifecycle and project delivery management.
• 3+ years in dev ops automation with tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Chef.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with APM data aggregation and reporting is a plus.
• Effective collaboration skills across stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.
