ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and detail-oriented Software Engineering Manager to lead our Shared Services team. You will oversee developer efficiency and quality efforts, implementing dev ops solutions, application performance monitoring, test automation, and error management tools. You will collaborate across teams to design and implement these solutions. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong critical thinking, effective communication, and excellent organization skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to stakeholders.

Monday-Friday, Full-Time, Exempt

(Hybrid or Remote Available)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  1. Partner with stakeholders to determine requirements, establish project timelines, and implementation plans.
  2. Communicate project progress to management and stakeholders.
  3. Design and implement dev ops automation using CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Chef.
  4. Maintain application performance monitoring tools and dashboards.
  5. Advance testing automation frameworks for additional applications and user journeys.
  6. Manage error aggregation and alert platforms, working with support teams to optimize notifications.
  7. Lead daily team standups and assist in removing blockers.
  8. Handle HR responsibilities including performance evaluations.
  9. Mentor and coach team members continuously.
  10. Ensure team compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and change management policies.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  1. 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams, including hiring and performance management.
  2. 5+ years of experience in software development lifecycle and project delivery management.
  3. 3+ years of experience with dev ops automation tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Chef.
  4. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  5. Experience with APM data aggregation and reporting is a plus.
  6. Effective collaboration skills across stakeholders.
  7. Excellent communication, planning, and prioritization skills.
