Job summary

MissionEdge Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team supporting mission-critical government programs. You will design, develop, test, and maintain complex software solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software that meets demanding mission requirements.

Telework up to 16 hours per week may be available after acclimation, with standard hours 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday. This role requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance.
• 14–20 years of software engineering experience on similar scope programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• An additional four years of relevant SWE experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience developing in AWS with managed services.

The compensation for this role will be competitive and is aligned with industry standards, taking into consideration factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. The base salary range for this position is $198,300to$249,100(USD) , exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION

MissionEdge Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to join our talented team supporting mission-critical government programs. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain complex software solutions that power high-impact systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to build new capabilities, enhance existing applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver scalable, high-quality software that meets demanding mission requirements.

Telework (up to 16 hours per week) may be available for this position based on mission needs/available tasking at the discretion of leadership, after the individual has become fully acclimated to the duties and responsibilities of the position and has completed the necessary telework training.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees willbe requiredtoaccess;U.S. Citizenship isrequired.
• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph
• Fourteen (20) years of Software Engineering (SWE) experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• An additional four (4) years of relevant Software Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• Experience developing in AWS with managed services.

Working Conditions

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Employees are required to notify management in advance of any plans to relocate out of state to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

Physical Requirements

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
