Job summary

MissionEdge Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer with strong Java development experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with MapReduce, cloud technologies, GhostMachine, and QTA, and enjoys solving complex technical challenges in a collaborative environment.

You will design, develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions, troubleshoot defects, and contribute to improving software processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

The compensation for this role will be competitive and is aligned with industry standards, taking into consideration factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. The base salary range for this position is $99 ,900 to $125,500 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits.

In this role, you will design, develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions, troubleshoot and resolve defects, integrate applications into new environments, develop data queries, and contribute to improving software development processes and documentation. Minimum Required Qualifications

Working Conditions

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Employees are required to notify management in advance of any plans to relocate out of state to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

Physical Requirements

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
