Stratum Networks is a fast-growing cybersecurity solutions provider supporting DoD and Intelligence Community clients. We seek a talented Web Developer to support one of our Annapolis Junction-area clients in a hybrid cloud Linux environment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Python scripting, Linux administration, and familiarity with AWS technologies. TS/SCI with polygraph is required. Salary ranges from $97k to $201k with excellent benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Seven (7) years of SWE experience on similar contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
• Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level I (CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, HCISPP).

Responsibilities

• Design architecture and develop Linux-based solutions for DoD/IC clients.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux instances across networks and architectures.
• Automate processes and write Python scripts to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with a small Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Web Developer who would support one of our clients located in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Ability to hire for this position is pending award of the contract to KBX.

Work in an environment where you can design the architecture and develop solutions to meet the organization’s needs while enhancing your skillset and advancing your career. Looking for an innovative, and motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment. This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks, in multiple architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Python scripting experience, Linux administration experience, knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies are a plus. Candidate must work well in a small team setting, have a desire to automate processes where possible, and a willingness to think outside the box to find solutions.

Required Skills

• Recent, relevant, and demonstrable experience with Python.
• Ability to create Python scripts from scratch as well as modify existing scripts.
• Experience with automating repetitive tasks with Bash and Python scripts.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies.
• Ability to communicate issues with team members and/or service owners.

Desired Skills

• Experience performing Linux server administration tasks including configuring, patching, monitoring, trouble shooting, etc.
• Experience with Puppet and Ansible.
• Experience with AWS EC2 Auto Scaling.
• Experience with aws-cli and boto3.

Salary: $97k - $201k depending on experience and contract.

Qualifications

Seven (7) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level I (CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, HCISPP).
