Job summary

EOA Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer on a full-time subcontract supporting a U.S. Government customer. The role focuses on automation and secure software processes under the Secure the Enterprise initiative.

You will work with Pig and PySpark to build analytics, review data ingest tickets, and ensure data quality for end users. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required. The position involves collaboration in an Agile environment and delivering reliable data products.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• 7+ years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 4 years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
• Proficiency in Pig and PySpark; analytics development experience.

Job description

EOA Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• The engineer will be heavily involved with the creation, maintenance, and running of Pig and or PySpark analytics and is responsible for reviewing data ingest tickets and merge requests with other developers on the team.
• The engineer is focused on delivering reliable, accurate data to the end users as well as ensuring that day-to-day operations are successful. Including being able to investigate data arriving accurately into the system.

Requirements

• Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
• Strong background in analytics development
• Proficiency in Pig and PySpark
• Seven (7) years' experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Desired Skills:

Experience with patch management and IAVA tracking; Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala; Familiarity with NiFi and Ansible; Experience working in Agile environments
