Constellation Technologies seeks a highly experienced software engineer to support government programs in the Fort Meade area. The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

You will lead software development efforts, analyze requirements, debug, and implement enhancements across complex systems. The position demands 20 years of SWE experience on similar contracts, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and on-call readiness to support operations.

Qualifications

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Technical Skills

• CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with continuous integration frameworks such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Infrastructure Tools: Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Container Platforms: Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud Experience: Proficiency with major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Candidate would be expected to be “On call” to support system operations.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph (last polygraph must be within the last five years).
• Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (04) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Must be able to analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified system or operating environment.
