PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer Lead for its Site Reliability Engineering Center (SRC). You will design and lead software solutions, with a focus on reliability and performance, based in one of PNC's IT Hubs.
You will work with Java Spring Boot, OpenShift, Kubernetes, API tooling, and databases, contributing to on-call support in a 24/7 environment at a major financial services company.

As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's IT Site Reliability Engineering Center (SRC), you will be based in and work from one of PNC's IT Hubs: Denver, Colorado; Phoenix, Arizona; Cleveland, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Birmingham, Alabama; Dallas, Texas.
Key skills required include: Java Spring Boot, OpenShift and Kubernetes, API troubleshooting and Postman, Dynatrace, Elasticsearch and Logscale, MQ, Kafka, event based programming, and database experience with MongoDB and Oracle.
The SRC (Site Reliability Center) is a 24/7 operation and you will be required to participate in a on-call rotational support team which may include resolving critical systems issues during off hours.

Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
Facilitates complex problem resolution.
Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues.
Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

Base Salary: $86,250.00 – $158,125.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
