DAERO is looking for a Software Engineer to own the entire product development lifecycle for our Android App—from system design and UI architecture to backend integration.

You’ll drive A/B testing, ensure high reliability across devices (especially lower-end ones), and help shape long-term scalability through strong system design.

What you'll do:

• Build and maintain scalable Android systems using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Gradle.
• Implement A/B testing, unit tests, and performance checks for all types of Android devices, especially lower-end ones.
• Collaborate on backend APIs, microservices, and integration workflows.
• Participate in system design discussions to ensure long-term scalability.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• You love Kotlin/Android app development and have stood up several apps before.
• Deep understanding of Jetpack Compose, Gradle, and Android performance tooling.
• Strong foundation in system design and API integration.
• Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD.
• Exposure to AWS and Supabase preferred.
