Job summary

Toyota Financial Services is looking for a Software Engineer to build, learn, and grow within dealer and consumer digital platforms. You will deliver reliable backend services and frontend applications under senior guidance while developing strong fundamentals in cloud-native and distributed systems.

The role focuses on producing production-grade systems that support Toyota’s digital and financial journeys. A curious, detail-oriented candidate with 3+ years of experience will thrive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Core development skills in Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Implement features and services using established design and coding patterns.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs used by dealer and consumer applications.
• Build UI components using modern frontend frameworks.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with team standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to understand system design and architecture decisions.
• Support Toyota digital workflows such as VDP, PreQual, and pricing requests.
• Continuously grow skills in cloud platforms, microservices, distributed systems, and engineering tools.
