Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Strong academic record (GPA 3.0+ as a general rule).
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Experience or training in C, C++, C#, or Java relevant to Garmin’s needs.
• Experience with data structures and object-oriented design.

Responsibilities

• Learn to develop software for Garmin's navigation and communication products with guidance.
• Learn to test software using debuggers, emulators, simulators, and logic analyzers.
• Learn software release processes and software quality assurance activities.
• Assist in maintenance of existing production software and new design work.
• Integrate with development teams and provide feedback on products in development.
