Garmin Ltd. is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

You will learn to develop software for Garmin’s communication and navigation products within a team environment under supervision. The role covers embedded software, DevOps, mobile, and web teams. Strong foundations in C/C++, data structures, and OO design are required, with a GPA of 3.0+ and good communication skills.

Formación

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience or training in C, C++, C#, or Java relevant to Garmin’s needs.
• Experience or training in data structures and object-oriented design.

Responsabilidades

• Learn to develop software in C, C++, or other languages for Garmin products with guidance.
• Learn to test software using debuggers, emulators, simulators, and logic analyzers.
• Learn to perform software releases and quality assurance activities.
• Learn to perform maintenance for products in production and new product design.
• Integrate, use, and provide feedback on products in development.
