Job summary

Light & Wonder is hiring an Software Engineer - Intern to join a global engineering team responsible for automation, build, packaging, deployment, and testing. You will learn how a healthy software supply chain operates in production and contribute to internal systems and customer-facing products.

The role emphasizes collaboration, development work in multiple languages, and exposure to DevOps tooling while supporting day-to-day technical services.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Genuine interest in DevOps and the software supply chain.
• Clear communication and ability to work well on a team.
• Exposure to virtual environments and automation tools such as Jenkins, Packer/Docker, Chocolatey.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain build, packaging, deployment, and test automation
• Complete small development and scripting tasks to improve tools
• Troubleshoot issues with internal systems and help resolve
• Support day-to-day technical services and operational tasks
• Work with engineers to understand requirements, architecture, and tools
• Research and evaluate new technologies and share learnings
• Document your work so others can build on it
