Light & Wonder in Las Vegas seeks a Software Intern to join a global engineering team. You will help maintain automation, build, test, package, deploy, and document software supporting internal systems and customer-facing products.

Qualifications

• Entry level position, some experience in a software development environment preferred.
• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Genuine interest in DevOps and the software supply chain.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work well on a team.
• Exposure to virtual environments and automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain and improve build, packaging, deployment, and test automation.
• Complete small development and scripting tasks that make our tools faster and more reliable.
• Troubleshoot issues with internal systems and tools and help see them through to resolution.
• Support day-to-day technical services and operational tasks alongside your team.
• Work with engineers and peers to understand requirements, architecture, and development tools.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and share what you learn with the team.
• Document your work so others can build on it.
