Light & Wonder, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join a global team developing and integrating software for internal products and customer-centric innovations. You will design, develop, test, and integrate software with emphasis on quality and secure coding practices.

You will collaborate across teams to refactor existing code, build shared libraries, and explore new technologies to enhance Light & Wonder products and tools. Excellent English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Gaming industry experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative features and functionality for Light & Wonder products, utilities, and tools
• Research new technologies to modernize and elevate existing Light & Wonder products
• Refactor, improve, and optimize existing code base
• Design and build libraries that will be shared with other Light & Wonder product
• Embrace best coding practices, such as secure coding guidelines, test driven development, continuous integration workflow
• Provide prompt resolution to bugs/issues by using debugging skill
